This is the home of WOWNH. We now think of it as 'Whilst On Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire', i.e., WOW NH, 'Winnipesaukee' the famous BIG lake in New Hampshire.

We used to live right on Winnipesaukee itself -- 9' from the water. Now we live in the Winnipesaukee area, the so called 'Lakes Region' of New Hampshire. I, that being 'Anura Guruge', have owned 'wownh.com' since 1998, and as such have had the same e-mail for that long. Originally 'wownh' did stand for 'Waiters on Water', a boat and jet-ski based takeout service I messed around with for a few years. It was a load of fun but not really that viable even when gas was $1 a gallon.

WOWNH is now an LLC. So this is also the homepage for WOWNH LLC -- which is, of course, registered in N.H. I use the LLC as the publishing name for my many 'non-technology' books. See below.

Prior to Facebook and blogs this Website served as a means of conveying family news and pictures around the World. Well, we don't use this for that anymore though I am keeping a few page 'stubs' for nostalgia. So that explains the other pages. They are 'holdouts' from the original wownh.com.
